Thanks for your article on this website. From my own personal experience, there are occassions when softening upwards a photograph may provide the digital photographer with a little bit of an inventive flare. Often times however, this soft clouds isn't just what you had in mind and can sometimes spoil a normally good photo, especially if you anticipate enlarging it.
